Guests to Bevard Zoo will find some unique experiences available. Visitors can take kayak through the wilderness, feed a giraffe, pet a baby alligator and met a rhino. The AZA-accredited Florida Zoo is divided into five parts. At Expedition Africa, guests will see ostrich, primates, tortoise, giraffe, impala, rhino and cheetah. This area gives you a water-side view as you kayak down the river.
La Selva offers up such animal favorites as monkies, tamarins, macaw, sloth, jaguars, tropical birds, ducks and tortoise as you walk through the jungle.
Australia/Asia offers guests the opportunity to feed rainbow lorikeets and cockatiles. In addition, guests will see black swan, fruit bats known as flying fox, emu, kangaroo, gibbon and muntjacs.
Wild Florida allows visitors to feed some white-tailed deer and see the alligators being feed. Other animals that visitors will see on the walkway are red wolves, fox, bald eagle, bobcats and red-tail hawk. Guests can also take a guided kayak tours through 22-acres of restored wetland.
Paws on Play offers a special children’s area. Parents can play along with the kids or watch them play as they enjoy a beverage and FREE WI-FI. Kids can play in a lagoon right beside a large aquarium. There is even a special area for children three and under, they can build an animal home, visit an Inn, have a puppet theatre, explore the beach and go fishing, go to a petting zoo and play at being a vet. Animals such as snakes, lizards, tortoises, starfish, deer, crab and more are also housed here.

Brevard Zoo offers a number of extra activities at an extra cost. However, they offer a couple of different combo tickets that include all the activities at the zoo. It will save you money to buy a combo ticket, if you plan on doing the extra activities.

Regular admission prices are Adults $15.00, Children from 2-12 $11.00 and under two are FREE.
Parking is FREE.
Some activities such as feeding the giraffes and lorikeets, train ride and kayaking are offered at an extra charge.
No outside food or drink are permitted inside the zoo. However, Brevard Zoo offers picnic facilities outside of the park for visitors. They also offer food for sale at cafes inside the park.
The zoo is open every day except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Some events require the zoo to close at 3 pm.
Hours are 9:30 am to 5 pm daily with last admission taken at 4:15 pm.
